Abraham-Pulisic secured Chelsea’s 7th victory in Premier League

The last season UEFA Europa League winner Chelsea is passing a better season right now. And they have kept their winning streak continue in the Premier League. Though in the last match, the Blues were defeated against Manchester United in the League Cup but in Premier League, they are gradually securing their position among the top four. Earlier today, the apprentices of Lampard played the 11th round in the Premier League and reportedly, Abraham-Pulisic secured Chelsea’s 7th victory in Premier League!

The two young players of the Blues led them to the victory against Watford in the Premier League earlier today. It was their away match of Chelsea but they did not face so much difficulty to bring the victory. In the English Premier League, earlier today, the team of Lampard won by a 2 – 1 goal against Watford.

The match took place at the Vicarage Road, the venue of Watford. Now, by playing 11 matches in the new season of Premier League, the Blues managed seven victories and two draws. So, they are standing in the 3rd position with 23 points. Chelsea is just two points behind than the 2nd ranked holder team Man City and eight points behind than the top-ranked team Liverpool.


In the 4th minute of the game, Chelsea went ahead. Jorginho made a perfect pass and Abraham touched it to the net. In the ongoing season of Premier League, the 22nd years old star has scored a total of 9 goals so far. Chelsea was ahead of the ball possession and attacking sectors but could not increase the goal difference. At the end of the first half, the 19 years old English midfielder made a try but his shot was stopped by the crossbar. 

At the beginning of the 2nd half, Mount’s amazing volley was stopped by the Watford goalkeeper. In the 55th minute, from the right side, the amazing cross of Abraham found Pulisic. And the American star found the net. In the last week, against Burnley the 22nd years old USA forward made an amazing hat-trick. In the 79th minute of the game, by making a successful spot-kick, Deulofeu led Watford returned to the game. The Spanish forward was fouled into the box and so, the home team got the penalty. In the additional minutes of the 2nd half, Chelsea’s goalkeeper stopped a free-kick and secured their victory.
