Bangladesh’s cricket team is comparatively better in the ODI format. Bangladesh whitewashed Zimbabwe in ODI series by 3-0. But still, at their away venue, they used to fight for victory. Besides, if we look at their recent performance after the World Cup 2019, they did not good at their away matches. But at the home venue against the lower-ranked team, Bangladesh is so good. Now, they are playing a dual tournament against Zimbabwe and it is taking place in Bangladesh. As the captain of the Bangladesh cricket in ODI format, Mashrafe has finished his career. And the Tigers squad has colored the ODI series.
The ODI series between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe consisted of three matches. By winning the first two matches, the Tigers secured the ODI series earlier.

Earlier today, the 3rd and final ODI against Zimbabwe took place at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Mashrafe Mortaza played the match as the captain and it was his last also. The players of the team have said goodbye to the legendary captain. besides, they presented a big victory for his goodbye gift. The guest team Zimbabwe won the toss and let the Tigers bat first. The ground was too familiar for the Tigers. Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das opened the innings for Bangladesh.
And as the openers, they have broken a record and made their own. They jointly added 292 runs for the team. As the Bangladeshi openers, it is the biggest score now. Liton scored 176 runs and it is the highest individual score for any Bangladeshi batsman in ODIs. He colored his innings by making sixteen 4’s and eight 6’s. Facing 143 balls, Liton Das made the score. At the end of the crease, Tamim Iqbal also found a century. He scored unbeaten 128 runs. Both players played the destructive innings. Tamim could make his innings longer. But due to the rain, the game reduced to 43 overs. So, losing three wickets, the Tigers scored 322 runs in the 3rd ODI against Zimbabwe. All three wickets are taken by Carl Mumba for Zimbabwe.

Later, team Zimbabwe came to chase the score. It is nearly impossible for the guest team to chase the big score though they played well in the 2nd ODI. But it was a rainy day. The ground became slower and so, the Zimbabwe batsmen did not get the favour. In 5 runs, they lost their opener Tinashe Kamunhukamwe. Mashrafe took the first wickets. The highest scorer was Sikandar Raza who added 61 runs. In 37.3 overs, the guest team’s innings was finished. They lost all wickets scoring 218 runs. Mohammad Saifuddin took four wickets for the Tigers.
