Here to be noted, in September 2015 Shahadat and his wife were arrested by police for torturing and beating an 11-year-old girl who was employed as their housemaid. However, they proved them self clear when a trial has started for this case but was restrained for two months. It also came to light after beating a rickshaw driver for a little scratch on his car in Dhaka.

This Bangladesh national team’s cricketer has denied the allegation of kicking and slapping Arafat Sunny, he said that the matter happened on a tense moment. While on an interview with AFP. But Shahadat confesses his mistake, he said the physical harassing complaint is completely wrong he just pushed Arafat and The 33-year-old bowler is going to appeal against the punishment decision.
A six-month ban or something like that is nice for this crime but 5 years ban is too harsh for me. Shahadat Hossain, as an international cricketer played 38 Tests and 51 one-day international matches for Bangladesh cricket team.
