Casemiro’s goal saved Brazil against Nigeria

The five-time FIFA World Cup champion Brazil has stumbled after a long time. They could not find the easy victory earlier today. Though it was an international friendly match the Real Madrid star Casemiro’s goal saved Brazil against Nigeria! Team Brazil possessed the ball most of the time and also dominated the attacking division. They also created a number of chances but could not use them properly. The Nigerian goalkeeper Uzoho became the wall of China it seemed. At the beginning of the 2nd half, the apprentices of Tite returned to the game and the fans of Brazil hoped for a good finish. But they missed a number of chances and so, the five-time FIFA World Cup winner Brazil had to leave the ground with the 1 – 1 goal draw.

At the National Stadium, Singapore, earlier today the international friendly match between Brazil and Nigeria took place. Through the goal of Aribo, Nigeria went ahead and later, Casemiro’s goal led Brazil to return to the game. Including the match against Nigeria, the last Copa America winner Brazil could not find the victory in their last four matches consecutively. In the last September, against Colombia, the team of Tite made the draw by a 2 – 2 goals and later, faced the defeat against Peru by a 1 – 0 goal. In the last week, they faced Senegal and drawn the match by a 1 – 1 goal. 

Brazil could go ahead in the beginning but the shot of Firmino was missed only for a little. Two minutes later, Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson saved Brazil by stopping the shot of Osimhen. Just a few moments later, Brazil was got a big shock. The top star of Brazil Neymar was suffering from the hamstring injury for long and in the 12th minute, the coach took him from the ground and grounded Coutinho. In the 28th and 30th minute, Brazil got two good chances but could not find success.

The head of Gabriel Jesus was stopped by the Nigerian stopper and the shot of Firmino was stopped as well. In the 35th minute of the game, from the right side, Nigeria made a balanced attack and went ahead. The pass from the teammate was received and Nigerian midfielder Aribo escaped a player and found the net.

In the 3rd minute of the 2nd half, team Brazil returned to the game. The Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro scored the goal for Brazil. In the 56th minute, Man City striker Jesus made an amazing head but Nigerian goalkeeper saved his team. So, Brazil left the ground with a 1 – 1 goal draw.
