Chiellini would be out of the ground for six months

Yes, it is one kind of shocking news for Juventus fans. The Old Lady skipper Chiellini would be out of the ground for six months! He is suffering from a knee injury and would be expected to return at the ground not less than six months.

In the last Friday, during the practice session, the centre-back faced the right knee injury. The star player has already been operated, according to the club which has been revealed earlier today. In exchange for him, the new signing of Juventus De Ligt got the chance against Napoli.


In the new season of Serie A, the Old Lady which is the current Serie A champion has found the victories in their first two matches consecutively. Now, Juventus is moving forward to win their 9th consecutive league title. But from now on, they will have to habituate to play without the most experienced and the skipper of the team Giorgio Chiellini. And it is truly a long way to go. It has been thought that in the upcoming March 2020, the Italian footballer will return to the ground.

Chiellini, the 35 years old defender was already sent to Austria where his surgery has been completed. The current captain of the Serie A champion would be back at the end of the season hopefully. It would perhaps, he would play the last few matches wearing the Old Lady jersey.

According to the official news of Juventus, the 35 years old centre-back would return in the upcoming March 2020 and most likely he would be fit for the quarter-final of the Champions League if his team Juventus should reach to the level.

Giorgio Chiellini who is currently 35 years old and the captain of both the Italian club Juventus and Italy national team. He is physically strong and an aggressive defender who has almost spent his entire professional career at the Juventus Stadium. The defender started his youth career with Livorno and also it was his first club at the professional level. He spent two seasons with them in his professional career. In 2002, he moved to Roma but there, he could not make his debut but Roma sent him on loan to his former club. 

While playing for Roma, he also spent a loan season with Fiorentina as well. For the club Fiorentina, he made 37 appearances and scored three goals so far. In 2005, Juventus bought him in exchange for €3.5 million. And till now, he is playing for the most successful Italian club. With the Old Lady, the 35 years old made 384 appearances and scored 27 goals so far. Chiellini made his International debut with the Italy national team in 2004 and still playing for the team. Till now, he made 103 International appearances and scored 8 goals so far.
