Don’t I like Bayern? Don’t I like Dortmund? Both indifferent to me. Am I sad that Bayern won? A little. Why? Because if BVB got her ass up a little more, the fate of the championship would not be decided. However, Bayern Munich extended its lead with a 1-0 win over Borussia Dortmund where Kimmich sends seven points top.
The Bavarians visited Signal Iduna Park to extend their Bundesliga table lead although Bayern Munich’s 43rd-minute goal from Joshua Kimmich was enough for Bayern to lead 64 points and move seven points ahead of second-placed Dortmund.

Two sides began with a strong start and the first half was really good, fast, intense. However, 70% possession for Borussia Dortmund after 10 minutes against Bayern Munich. Goretzka and Coman hit straight at Burki, on the other side Neuer didn’t have that much work but BVB played their actions quite well, using the lots of space that guaranteed a 1-3-4-3 position on the sides.
In the 19th minute of the match, Bayern Munich almost took the lead with a first goal after Munich’s Gnabry shot past Burke but Dortmund’s Piszczek deflected in to save the keeper. Coman forces Burke to make a save after Davies gets a long ball off Muller and puts Coman on the right foot but goes straight for the keeper.
All of a sudden before the brak in 43rd-minute what a beautiful goal. Bayern Munich took the lead and Borussia Dortmund put in a spectacular save for Bayern Munich right-back Kimmich, who fired a shot past Burki on the outside. However, Bayern Munich left fist half the pitch with leading 1-0.
WHAT A GOAL! 😍

In the second half the intensity fell, Bayern concentrated and Borussia could not break through the opponent’s ranks. Some meaningful actions of the hosts can be counted on the fingers of one hand. In 58th-minute hosts got a great chance. Hazard came on the ball with a right-wing shot and it was in the penalty area for a well-mannered Dutchman that Boateng sealed the shot but the German lying on the ground tried to divert the ball from the goal.
After that, no well-organized football won’s see except Guerreiro stands on a free-kick in front of the Munich goal-line, dropping a shot straight at Neuer in 75th minute. Manuel Neuer saves another shot by Dahoud. Gotze tried to work with his ex-teammate, but the ball he could not manage properly went to Dahoud. Threatened Neuer struck him but was saved in 81st minute.
At the end of the match Lewandowski still hit the post. In my humble opinion, the second half was weaker than the first and the match was generally full of quality and intensity which also made the implementation of tactical assumptions stood at a high level and prevented madness.
