Ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019, the participating teams are passing a very busy time right now. They are taking the last moment preparation. The World Cup will be hosted at the England and Wales this time and so, most of the teams are focusing on their batting section. The Green Army is not so different. Even they are playing a dual series against the English team and currently visiting England. The tour will help them to adjust the environment in the upcoming Cricket World Cup. Pakistan and England are playing the ODI series that consists of five matches, By winning the three Matches, England won the ODI series against Pakistan already.
ECB and PCB were agreed that the series will help both teams for the upcoming biggest event of the cricket. The series officially started with the T20I series that consisted of one match. Pakistan also lost the series against the home team.

Later, the ODI series started on 8th May and the inaugural match was canceled due to rain. From the 2nd match, the home team has won the three matches consecutively and confirmed the series. It does not mean that Pakistan played bad. No, they were quite brilliant in the series. In the 2nd ODI, Pakistan was about to chase 373 runs but stopped scoring 361 runs. The 50 overs were finished by then.
In the 3rd ODI, the Green Army scored 358 runs which could be enough to beat any team but England chased it. In the 4th ODI that took place yesterday night, Pakistan scored 340 runs and the home team once again chased the score.
On 17th May 2019, the 4th ODI between England and Pakistan took place and it was a day/ night competition. England won the toss and let the Shaheens bat first. The match was staged at the Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

Imam and Fakhar opened the innings for Pakistan. The opening partnership was not quite well but Fakhar added 57 runs. Babar Azam made an amazing century in the match who scored a total of 115 runs. Later, Mohammad Hafeez added 59 runs and Shoaib Malik added 41 runs to the scoreboard. By losing seven wickets team Pakistan scored 340 runs in 50 overs.
On the other hand, the openers of England added 94 runs and made a strong base for the team. Opener Jason Roy scored 114 runs in 89 balls and Vince added 43 runs. Root and Stokes also played well. England also lost seven wickets and chased the score in 49.3 overs. Along with the victory, the home team also won the ODI series.
