The boss of Manchester City Pep Guardiola has asked to cancel the FA Cup replay as they prepare for the fourth round on Sunday Manchester City will play against Fulham.
Guardiola is one of several Premier League managers who concerned over the loss of their players’ severe demands on the English fixture list. The Spaniard has already admitted that he will be happy as a way to ease the crowd to cancel the League Cup, though City has won the last two seasons and will do face Manchester United in the semi-final second leg next Wednesday.
There have been concerns that a busy time frame for City would be even more mature if the Etihad Stadium had a second-tier Fulham draw, with Guardiola proposing a release from the remainder of the FA Cup. And this is why Guardiola has asked to cancel the FA Cup replay.
The Football Union was relegated from the fifth round of their previous season, and Guardiola saw Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford injured in FA Cup duties in early January: ” it’s not that I am not talking about the FA. When I did Speaking of his comment, I never expected a League Cup or FA. The Cup is going to happen. The great thing about this country is how you maintain people.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says FA Cup replays should be scrapped to solve football’s increasingly crowded schedule.
He also suggested there should be “less teams in the Championship or Premier League.”

Traditions Artifacts you can add some new things to make the competition more beautiful, but all traditions are in art and culture, not just in sports, and it is over the top. I appreciate that. FA Cup and the League Cup will be played. But maybe we can cancel the replays, there are fewer teams in the Championship or Premier League. I always tried to answer this question honestly but I did not think about what they should do is not my business. I have to make my team’s players better every day by day. When they decide to play these games and other games, we do.”
Manchester City won the FA Cup and League Cup last season and will target them again after reaching the Premier League title. Despite staying second on the table, City trailed Liverpool by 16 points with the possibility of breaking the record 100-point list.
