It is the very first season for the Belgium star Eden Hazard at the Santiago Bernabeu. But he could not pass the season as expected, not even near that also. But reportedly, the former Chelsea star Hazard’s performance should not be judged right now.
It is his thought. Most of the time in the season, he suffered from the injury. So, he could not give his best on the ground. And now, he wants another season to prove himself at the Santiago Bernabeu. And only then, people can judge him.
At the Stamford Bridge, Belgium forward spent a total of seven successful seasons. After winning the UEFA Europa League title, in the last summer transfer, he moved to the most successful Spanish club Real Madrid. Wearing the shirt of the Blues, he won a total of two Premier League titles and two Europa League titles so far. Also, he became the best player of the year which was given by the Professional Footballers Association (PFA).
🗣 Eden Hazard: “My first season at Real has been rubbish.
“But everything doesn’t have to be thrown away. It was a season to adapt.
“I’ll be judged on the second season. It’s up to me to be in good shape next year.” pic.twitter.com/BD4ZmpYchA

Just because of the injury, at Santiago Bernabeu which is his new club, he could not get the chance to prove himself. In the last month, he faced the ankle injury and ruled out from the ground for the rest of the season. Before that, he was just able to play ten La Liga matches and scored only one goal. From the last November to January, for the same ankle injury, he was out of the ground. To the Belgium RTBF, he has given an interview. There the former Chelsea forward stated that the beginning at the Bernabeu is not going as expected. But to win the heart of the criticizers, he has still sufficient time.
Eden Hazard on his first year with Real Madrid: “My first season in Madrid is bad, but not in its entirety. It is an adaptation season. I will be judged in the second. It is up to me to be in good shape next year. The group is good. I still have a four year contract left.” [rtbl] pic.twitter.com/qtOAr8Jl8x

Yes, wearing the shirt of Real Madrid, his first season is not going well but not all of them. The season was for him to blend in with the team, with their style. But he will be judged for his 2nd season’s performance, the 29 years old attacking midfielder said. It is a team that consists of amazing players. He has met with so many new peoples here at Bernabeu. It was a great experience for him. The Belgium winger has still four years contract left with the most successful Spanish club. And in the meantime, he will be in good form, he hopes.
UEFA and Spanish football authorities have postponed all the matches because of the Coronavirus. Yes, Hazard is disappointed but he thinks that they have taken the perfect decision.
