ICC has banned Shakib Al Hasan for two years from all cricket

International Cricket Council which is simply known as ICC has revealed shocking news in the cricket World. According to the report, ICC has banned Shakib Al Hasan for two years! Yes, the Bangladesh Cricket Team skipper Shakib Al Hasan has been banned from all the competitions for two years. One year ceased punishment has been added to the announcement as well. The Tigers skipper Shakib Al Hasan has broken three certain rules of ICC and so, they have punished the most talented all-rounder. Shakib Al Hasan who is currently the Test and T20I skipper in Bangladesh National Cricket Team has accepted the punishment. Shakib did not inform the anti-corruption commission and took the fact so lightly. So, he has been punished. If he will continue to do so, the ceased punishment will run.

International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed a press released earlier today where they have presented the three faults of the Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan. According to the rules of 2.4.4 of ICC, during the tri-nation series of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in 2018, he was offered from the gamblers but did not inform the ICC Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU).

The 2nd fact is, during the same series, the gamblers contacted him for the 2nd time and also Shakib failed to inform the ACU. And the 3rd fact is, during the Indian Premier League (IPL) ion 26th April 2018, before the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab, Shakib Al Hasan was offered for the match-fixing. Once again, Shakib failed to inform the appropriate authority.

Obviously, one of the best all-rounders in the world Shakib Al Hasan has accepted all his faults and ICC which has found him the guilty and punished him. Shakib also accepted the banishment he has been given. If he will follow every instruction according to the punishment, on 29th October 2020, the talented all-rounder can come back to international cricket.


ICC officials have also accepted that Shakib Al Hasan is an experienced cricketer and he also took part in a number of classes and also aware of his duty under the code. He should have informed the ICC officials about the offers. Though he accepted everything and also helped ICC. Besides, the all-rounder also offered ICC for future help. He wants the crickets will learn from his fault as well.
