After the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 where India travelled England, it is their first dual series and they have visited the United States and West Indies for the tournament. The dual tournament started with the T20I series and India whitewashed West Indies there. Later, three matches ODI series started and once again, team India beat West Indies by a 2 – 0. Now, in the last 22nd August 2019, two matches Test series started. India earlier secured the Test series by winning the first Test. And to beat West Indies, they just had to avoid the defeat. Now, they have won the 2nd Test as well. So, team India once again whitewashed West Indies by 257 runs.

The 2nd Test between India and West Indies started on 30th August 2019 at the Sabina Park, Kingston. The home team West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first at Kingston. Men in Blues came to bat for the first innings. India played quite well in their first innings. Hanuma Vihari scored the highest 111 runs for India. They played 140.1 overs in their first innings and scored 416 runs by losing all wickets. Windies bowler Jason Holder took five wickets highest for the home team.

India played well and presented a big total in front of West Indies in the first innings but West Indies faced the batting collapsed and in 47.1 overs, they lost all wickets scoring 117 runs. Their top scorer was Hetmyer who added 34 runs highest. Later, team India came to bat for the 2nd innings and they did not need to score too many runs but scoring 168 runs losing 4 wickets, they declared the innings. Rahane was not out scoring 64 runs highest.

Finally, West Indies came to chase the big total in their 2nd innings. They played a little bit better in their 2nd innings but could not avoid the big defeat. In 59.5 overs, they lost all wickets. In the meantime, the home team scored 210 runs and their top scorer was Shamarh Brooks who added 50 runs so far. So, team India won by 257 runs so far.
