IPL 2020: Team-wise Released player list (Pre-auction squads)

The trade window for the IPL 2020 will be held next month. Ahead of the trade window, all eight franchises had submitted their released player’s list. The franchisee will get an additional INR for taking the best action at the auction before the trade window which will be an amount of 3 crores. According to the news Team-wise released players list for IPL 2020.

Chennai Super Kings the 3 times trophy winners were the first team who declared their list of released players list 1st.

Chennai Super Kings ( CSK )

Chaitanya Bishnoi, Dhruv Shorey is released as a domestic batsman, Mohit Sharma as a domestic pacer. Sam Billings the wicketkeeper-batsman and David Willey the all-rounder both are from England were listed. And Scott Kuggeljein the fast bowler from New Zealand. 

Where David Willey will miss the season for his Injury.

SunRisers Hyderabad ( SRH )

Listed five players to release where Deepak Hooda and Yusuf Pathan as a domestic all-rounder, Ricky Bhui as a domestic batsman, All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan from Bangladesh and Martin Guptill the opener batsman from New Zealand.

Where Shakib will miss the season for his ban and Guptill’s performance was not impressive at last season.

Mumbai Indians ( MI )

Mumbai Indians the defending champions listed 7 players to release for the next window, they are Adam Milne, Jason Behrendorff, Yuvraj Singh, Ben Cutting, Evin Lewis, Alzarri Joseph, Beuran Hendricks, Yuvraj Singh, Barinder Singh Sran and Pankaj Jaiswal.

Where 29-year old Yuvi will miss for his retirement decision, Milne for his injury. Sran and Cutting fail to impress the franchise with their performance. 

Rajasthan Royals ( RR )

Rajasthan Royals listed 11 players for the next 2020 IPL window. Stuart Binny, Shubman Ranjane, Prashant Chopra, Aryaman Birla, Jaydev Unadkat, Rahul Tripathi, Sudheshan Midhun are released, domestic players.

As overseas players Ashton Turner from Australia, Oshane Thomas from West Indies, Ish Sodhi from New Zealand and Liam Livingstone from England.

It looks like the management wants to bring a huge change with the players for their best performance in the upcoming season of the tournament. 

Delhi Capitals ( DC )

Delhi Capitals whose were previously named as Delhi Daredevils announced 9 players’ name to release. Hanuma Vihari, Manjot Kalra, Ankush Bains, B Ayappa and Jalaj Saxena as domestic players. 

Where overseas Players are Chris Morris and Colin Ingram from South Africa, Colin Munro from New Zealand. 

Kolkata Knight Riders ( KKR )

Robin Uthappa, Piyush Chawla, KC Cariappa, Prithvi Raj Yarra and Shrikant Mundhe are the domestic players of the list of releasing players.

Overseas players list started with a surprising name of Chris Lynn from Australia, Anrich Nortje from South Africa, Matt Kelly from Australia and Carlos Brathwaite from West Indies.


Robin and Piyush had served KKR for a long time and with this decision, their relation has ended with this franchise.

Kings XI Punjab ( KXIP )

Varun Chakravarthy, Agnivech Ayachi and Prabh Simran Singh are domestic listed players. 

And David Miller ( South Africa), Sam Curran ( England ), Moises Henriques ( Australia ) and Andrew Tye ( Australia) are the overseas players.

Royal Challengers Bangalore ( RCB )

The biggest number of players are releasing by this team for next season. 12 players are listed for release Akshdeep Nath, Kulwant Khejroliya, Prayas Ray Barman, Milind Kumar, and Himmat Singh listed as domestic players.

On the other hand Marcus Stoinis ( Australia ), Nathan Coulter-Nile (Australia ), Colin de Grandhomme (New Zealand ), Tim Southee ( New Zealand), Dale Steyn (South Africa ), Heinrich Klaasen (South Africa ), Shimron Hetmyer (West Indies ) are overseas players to release.
