Jurgen Klopp wants to beat Atletico at the Anfield

Earlier today, the current Champions League champion Liverpool faced the defeat against Atletico Madrid. At the venue of Atletico, Liverpool could not break the ice defence of the local team. In the first leg, the game finished with a 1 – 0 goal. But still, the Reds have the chance of moving to the quarter-final of the Champions League. In that case, they just have to manage a comparatively bigger victory than the first leg. So, the boss of Liverpool hopes to see it done. According to the news, Jurgen Klopp wants to beat Atletico at the Anfield!

At the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano, the Reds faced the defeat against the local team. Though the relation between Liverpool and Estadio Wanda Metropolitano are quite good. Just a few months ago, Liverpool won their 6th Champions League title at the ground by defeating Tottenham Hotspur. The same colourful memory will repeat once again, the Reds boss thought that before the game. But the club of Simeone destroyed their sweet dream. In the first leg, Atletico Madrid beat the Reds by a 1 – 0 goal and moved closer to the quarter-final of the Champions League.

But it is not certain for Atletico. They have the 2nd leg waiting. It will be staged at the fort of the Reds. So, Jurgen Klopp has reminded them that. The 2nd leg will be at the Anfield. And it is not new of the condition of Liverpool at their home venue. In the last semi-final of the UCL, they were defeated against Barca by a 3 – 0 goal. But at the Anfield, they simply destroyed the Catalan club by a 4 – 0 goal and moved to the final.

At their home venue, Liverpool is always like that. When the fans support them from the gallery. Liverpool used to become a fearsome club for their opponent. And Klopp has reminded the thing once again. The German boss does not think anything special. Their supporters will be ready. Welcome, Atletico Madrid to the Anfield! The game has not finished yet.

Atletico took the chance as the home team in the first leg, Klopp thought. He also accepted that. The Reds were just like a blank tank against Atletico. But the local team used to fill their tank with petrol all the time. Yes, petrol is the fans on the ground and their emotion. They always talk about the fans of Anfield. But at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano, Klopp has seen the power of the fans of Atletico as well.
