The 2nd ODI between India and New Zealand has just finished. This time, India cricket team which is one of the strongest teams in the world has fallen under pressure. Now, they have just one match in hand to avoid the whitewash. Yes, Kohli’s India lost the ODI series against Black Caps! In the three matches ODI series, New Zealand has managed two victories already. So, they have already confirmed the series. If they can manage another victory against the superpower team, Kohli’s team will be whitewashed.

India cricket team is now in New Zealand. At the away venue, they are scheduled to play a complete dual series against the local team. Earlier, they played the five matches T20I series and whitewashed the Black Caps. Now, the ODI series is going. The Test series will be the last. The 2nd match of the ODI series has finished and New Zealand won the match by 22 runs.

At the Eden Park, Auckland, the 2nd ODI between India and New Zealand took place earlier today. It was a Day/ night match. Kohli’s India won the toss and came to bowl first. For the local team, Kyle Jamieson made his ODI debut. Balc Caps ODI team is led by the legendary skipper Kane Williamson but in the 2nd ODI, he did not take part. So, Tom Latham was the captain of Black Caps in the match.

Martin Guptill and Henry Nicholls made the start for New Zealand. They also made a good start. Their opening partnership was broken in 16.5 overs when the team’s score was 93. Henry Nicholls went first by scoring 41 runs. Later, Tom Blundell came but added only 22 runs. Ross Taylor came later and played a vital role. Top-order and middle-order players could not judge their name except Taylor. His unbeaten 73 runs led Black Caps to a challenging total. The opener Guptill scored the highest 79 runs so far. Losing 8 wickets in 50 overs, the local team scored 273 runs so far. Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets for India.


In the first ODI, India scored 347 runs and New Zealand chased the score. So, 273 runs should have been an easy target for India. But, no. They could not chase it successfully. In 48.3 overs, India lost all wickets. In the meantime, they have scored 251 runs so far. Their top scorer was Ravindra Jadeja. He scored 55 runs so far.
