Liverpool will not give up till the last

Liverpool sometimes grabbed the top position on the Premier League point table this season but they have missed their chance. They are now chasing the top-ranked team Manchester City. It seems under the guidance of Pep Guardiola, the team Man City will claim the title once again. They are still a point ahead of the Reds. But according to the last news, Liverpool will not give up till the last. They are ready to fight for the title. This is their chance. They yet to touch the Premier League title though they are one of the big teams in the competition.

Yesterday, the team Liverpool played a Premier League match which was the 30th round of the season. The match was against Burnley. Their player Roberto Firmino who returned to the first eleven through the match scored two goals. And at the home venue, in the league match, Sadio Mane found the net consecutive six matches. Based on the two forwards, Liverpool easily defeated Burnley.

At the Anfield, the team of Jurgen Klopp won the match by a 4 – 2 goals which took place Sunday night. At the home venue of the Reds, Sadio Mane scored two goals consecutive two times. However, the local team went behind at the beginning of the match. In the 6th minutes of the game, with an amazing curve free-kick English midfielder Westwood directly found the net.

The Brazilian goalkeeper of the Reds demanded it as the foul but finally seen the yellow card. The Liverpool which team was desperate and returned to the game within a very short time. In the 19th minutes of the game, the Burnley’s defense failed to secure the ball and Roberto Firmino got the ball in front of the net. So, he easily made it to the net.

The Brazilian forward Firmino scored his 2nd goal in the 67th minutes so far. When the 2nd goal of Burnley was added by Guomunds­son, the supporters of the team started to see the dream but it was ended when Mane scored his 2nd goal just two minutes later and confirmed the match.

In the ongoing league, Mane has already scored 16 goals where the Brazilian forward Firmino scored 11 goals so far. With the 73 points, Liverpool is in the 2nd position where Man City is holding the top position with 74 points so far.
