Juventus is one of the big clubs in Europe and also a potential contender in the Champions League. Though from the last few seasons, their performance in the European top flight is not as expected. So, they have brought the Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. But last season, CR7 failed to bring the trophy. Now, it is his 2nd time and he led the Old Lady to the round of the last sixteen of the UCL. Earlier today, they have played the first leg of the knockout phase but failed to bring the victory. They presented the charming performance against the French club but not enough. The Old Lady faced a defeat against Lyon. Yes, Lucas Tousart gives Lyon 1-0 first-leg advantage over Juventus.
Juventus made several attacks one after another. But they could not challenge the Lyon’s goalkeeper. Not Cristiano Ronaldo or Paulo Dybala. After making so much effort, the Italian champion tasted the defeat. And in the European competition, against the Serie A champion, Lyon got their very first victory.

And in the 31st minute, with an amazing volley, the French start Tousart found the net.
A shocking 1-0 Lyon win at the Groupama over Juventus. With a depleted Lyon squad, no one saw this result coming even though it was at home. Spectacular defensive performance by Lyon holding Juve to 0 shots on goal. Great overall performance. #JuveUCL #ChampionsLeague #lyonjuve pic.twitter.com/1uNpo2dAvp

In the 68th minute, Dybala got a chance but the Argentine forward could not keep his shot on the target. In the 2nd half, Higuain was grounded and he also got a chance. Dybala’s cross did not find him perfectly and so, his shot went outside. In the 87th minute, Dybala found the net but it was off-side.
