In the first August 2019, the first match of the Ashes series started where Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. The guest team could not play the complete 90 overs in their first day but lost all wickets in 80.4 overs. In 35 runs, top three players of Australia returned to the dressing room and in that crucial moment, the former captain of the team Steve Smith stood strong. Siddle and Lyon tried to give him company and Smith scored 144 runs highest. Scoring 284 runs Australia’s innings has been finished.
