Manchester City confirms the signing of Yan Couto

You won’t find it on any Manchester City website yet but – as reported by all media – Manchester City confirms the signing of Yan Couto as its first summer acquisition. It is not Lionel Messi or Neymar but who knows if it will ever become one. I am talking about Brazilian Yana Couto.

Barcelona fans could already hear about this player – right-back Cortiba who turns 18 in June, is 168 cm tall and performs for under 17. Why did they hear? Well, because some wrote not so long ago that it is Barcelona who have already brought Couto to themselves. Then they quickly got a sobering leaf because when they greeted each other with a goose with new talent, then suddenly Manchester City entered the game and picked up the Barca Brazilian from under his nose.

Manchester City not only offered more money to Cortiba but also to the footballer himself, which is why Barcelona gave a taste. Couto, called by some second/new Dani Alves, was supposed to cost 6 million euros, which is quite a penny for such a Manchester City (for Barcelona in total).

If the various performance bonuses etc. are met, the transfer amount can reach a maximum of EUR 12 million. Anyway, Benjamin’s top league broke his sales record which has so far been € 5 million, received for – ironically – the right defender Rafinha, Bayed by Schalke in 2005.

Yan Couto is a world champion in the 17-year-old category and he will go to Manchester completely after 18 years of age (June 3). Just then, probably the English will announce the transfer of the young, so as not to accidentally violate any rules related to the movement of underage teenagers.
