India cricket team could not finish the recently finished ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as expected or we can say they have failed to fill up the expectation of their fans. Being the most powerful and potential cricket team in the England World Cup, they could not qualify to the final but faced the defeat against the Black Caps in the semi-final. Indian skipper Virat Kohli wanted a 2nd chance which means the 2nd playoff just like the IPL after the miserable defeat in the tournament. Now, they are visiting the West Indies for a complete dual tournament against the host nation. The tournament has started with the T20I series consists of three matches and by winning the first two matches consecutively, Men in Blues secured the T20I series against West Indies.

The whole series consists of T20I, ODI and Test series and started with the T20I tournament. Virat Kohli is the T20I skipper of the Indian national team just like ODI and Test. In the 3rd August 2019, the inaugural T20I competition started between the host nation West Indies and India.
