Yes, the Tri-Nation series has finished earlier today and the home team Scotland won the Tri-Nation Series. The Tri-Nation series is a cricket tournament that consisted of three teams. The lower-ranked there teams actually. Along with Scotland, the rest two members are Oman and Papua New Guinea. It was an ODI Tri-Nation tournament which started on last 14th August 2019. Scotland Cricket Board arranged the tournament and also the Tri-Nation series is a part of the upcoming 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup qualifier round. Earlier today, the last round of the Tri-Nation series ended and the trophy is claimed by the host nation Scotland. Though both Oman and Scotland have gathered 6 points each but based on the net run rate, Scotland won the title.
Scotland finished the opening round of ICC Cricket World Cup League Two with a win as they defeated Papua New Guinea by 38 runs.

The whole Tri-Nation series consisted of six matches where each team played four matches. against the same opponent, a team played two matches as we speak. So, like all the teams, Scotland also played four matches but managed three victories. They faced a defeat against Oman.

In return, by playing the same four matches, Oman also won three times. They also faced a defeat against Scotland. On the other side, the 3rd member of the Tri-Nation tournament, Papua New Guinea could not manage a single victory but they were defeated all four times.
Basically, in the tournament, the main competition was placed between Oman and Scotland the team of New Guinea was just a member. In their inaugural meeting, yes we are talking about the first match between Scotland and Oman in the Tri-Nation tournament which took place on 15th August 2019 at the Mannofield Park, Aberdeen, Oman found the victory quite easily. But they faced batting disaster in the match and lost all wickets scoring 168 runs in 44.4 overs. Kyle Coetzer scored 56 runs highest for the home team. Khawar Ali took four wickets highest for Oman. In return, by losing five wickets Oman reached the destination and Khawar Ali scored unbeaten 79 runs and achieved the player of the match award.
In their 2nd head to head battle which took place in 18th August 2019 at the same venue, Oman won the toss and let the home team bat first. But this time, Scotland played well and presented 223 runs target in front of the guest team. And Oman just made 138 runs and lost all wickets. Hamza Tahir took five wickets for Scotland and destroyed their innings.
