Smith-Tendulkar is nowhere near Virat Kohli – Kevin Pietersen

Smith-Tendulkar is nowhere near Virat Kohli

Not only Smith fans but the fans of Sachin Tendulkar will be so angry with him for sure. The neutral fans also might not happy. Though analysts say that there is nothing like ‘neutral’. But the statement of Kevin Pietersen is that Smith-Tendulkar is nowhere near Virat Kohli.

If we consider the top five batsmen in the current World, it is so sure that the name of Steve Smith and Virat Kohli will be on the top two most of the cases. India is the cricket-loving nation and so, they are expecting so much from their national team captain Virat Kohli. On the other side, Smith is not like other measuring batsman but still, he has proved his capabilities already.

So, now the former English national side skipper Kevin Pietersen has made a comparison between these two top-rated batsmen. He has made things clear. The former Aussie captain Smith is nowhere near Virat Kohli. Even Pietersen is seeing Sachin Tendulkar behind of the current Indian skipper.

The former Zimbabwe pacer arranged a Live show on Instagram where Kevin Pietersen leaked his opinion. Many can think of that he played for the English side. So, like his arch-rival, he told that. Though his ending with the English national side was not as expected. However, he was told to choose one between Smith and Kohli. Pietersen selected one. Virat Kohli and nothing to say more.

Wearing the shirt of India’s national cricket team, he has a great record of chasing targets. How he is handling the pressure, Smith is nowhere near. Later, the presenter told him to choose one between Tendulkar and Kohli. In that case, once again the 37 years old former cricketer voted for Kohli. He explained that Virat’s average is 80 when considering the chasing targets. He brings victory to the Indian camp regularly.

In the short form of cricket, many cricket fans keep Virat Kohli ahead of Steve Smith. But in Test, most of them keep Smith ahead of Kohli. In the Test current ranking, the former Australia captain is once again holding the top position and Kohli is in the 2nd. But in the ODI, Kohli is on the top.
