The Reds which team started the new season considering all the competitions amazingly but all in a sudden, coming to the middle of the season it seems that they lost the track. In his attacking division, out of the best trio, just Mane made it to the starting eleven. Mohamed Salah and Firmino were not in the main eleven.
Due to the injury, the captain of the team Jordan Henderson was not in the squad. Alisson who is the regular goalkeeper was in the rest along with some other players. Besides, he changed his regular formation and used 4 – 3 – 1 – 2.
But Chelsea did not change a lot. They have the chance to win the FA Cup thing season and so, their boss Lampard used his best eleven against Liverpool. As the new face, just Gilmour was in the squad. But the new face has taken all the spotlight and became the player of the match. So, the Blues have moved to the last eight of the FA Cup.
