Like always, Lionel Messi left a good season behind. His amazing performance led Barcelona to the 2nd consecutive La Liga title. Besides, the La Liga champion also reached the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League but in the 2nd leg, the Reds did some impossible things and so, Messi’s team could not get passed them. However, they have also played the Copa del Rey final but could not win the title. In all competitions, Messi presented such eye-catchy performance. When we consider his individual performance there in the last season, it was much more brilliant. The 32nd years old forward scored the highest 36 goals in La Liga and also scored the highest 12 goals in the Champions League. So, he won the Golden Shoe and the Pichichi trophy as well.
