In the ongoing year, it seems that the Indian Premier League might not be able to take place because of the huge spreading of Coronavirus. Already the new season of IPL has been postponed. The IPL was about to start in next 29th March 2020. But to reduce the infection of Coronavirus, it has been postponed for next 15 days. The newspaper IANS, a franchise team official has stated that they will discuss the situation today. Though they have arranged a meeting. But when to look around, all the schools, colleges, shopping mall and cinemas are current off. Even all the gyms are now close after the declaration of the Ministry of Health. In these circumstances, the decision might come of cancelling the new season of the Indian Premier League.

Another franchise official revealed that all the franchise teams have talked with the BCCI already and they made things clear. They have informed the BCCI that health security is the first priority. Then the other things. If the tournament will be cancelled, how the franchise teams will recover from the losses? To give an answer to the question, an official person told that to arrange the league and to give the salaries, considering all, they will have to face around 15 to 20 crores rupee losses.
But the different types of losses are still noticed. Like the different products of the franchise teams jersey, ticket and so on. They will lose from the part also. If the tournament will not take place, the franchise teams will have to bear the losses. But they have to understand, nothing is better than the health of the people.
