Inter Milan is a successful Italian club and in the current season, they are in tremendous form. They grabbed the top position on the Italian top league Serie A for few weeks and now holding the 2nd position. The team is just 1 point behind Juventus right now. They have been placed into the Group F in the Champions League and earlier today, they faced Borussia Dortmund. If we consider their first two rounds in the Champions League, they made a draw in their first match and against Barcelona in the 2nd round, they were defeated. Earlier today, at the San Siro stadium, Inter Milan played the 3rd round of the Champions League group stage match and also found their very first victory in the new season. At the home venue, the team of Antonio Conte beat the German club Borussia Dortmund quite easily. The group F match between Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund ended with a 2 - 0 goal. Against Slavia Praha, the inaugural match of the Italian club was drawn by a 1 - 1 goal and later, against the local team Barcelona, they were defeated by a 2 - 1 goal. In the 22nd minute of the game, Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez led the local team ahead. He got the ball from his teammate and breaking the off-side trap, the star player escaped the goalkeeper.


In the 2nd half, Inter increased their attacking strength but due to the failure of the forward, they could not find the net. In 81st minute of the game, Borussia Dortmund defender Hummels fouled into the box and the local team got a penalty. But, the Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez missed the chance. Finally, in 89th minute of the game, by making a counter-attack, Candreva increased the goal difference. Brozovic’s amazing pass escaped the defenders and Candreva went into the box and with a speedy spot, the Italian midfielder found the net. Now, after the three matches in the group, Inter Milan has gathered four points and holding the 2nd position.
