On Thursday Hesson, the 45-year-old coach from New Zealand was asked about the late call for Dale in the auction of Indian Premier League (IPL). As Cricinfo stated his answer,
As We were ambitious to get Steyn but we knew that if we bid on him early, it would probably be three or four billion, which would have had an impact. He was as keen on getting Udana and Steyn as we were.
Steyn played 92 IPL matches and took 96 wickets at an average of 24.73. This South African fast bowler is currently in Australia with the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League but still injured due to lateral strain.
Is there anything better than watching Dale Steyn bowl the stumps out of the grooves?
