Mike Hesson the coach of Indian Premier League Club Royal Challengers Bangalore ( RCB) revealed that his team’s captain Virat Kohli who is also the captain of the Indian national cricket team was ambitious to get Proteas fast bowler Dale Steyn on his team and after RCB sign him for 200 lakh rupee. But Steyn never found a buyer before buying a Protea Speedster in Bangalore for Rs 200 lakhs (2 billion).

On Thursday Hesson, the 45-year-old coach from New Zealand was asked about the late call for Dale in the auction of Indian Premier League (IPL). As Cricinfo stated his answer,
As We were ambitious to get Steyn but we knew that if we bid on him early, it would probably be three or four billion, which would have had an impact. I have exchanged several hundred messages with Virat for probably several hours. I think he felt that we went to bed for a few hours in between, but he knows best what our plans are. He was as keen on getting Udana and Steyn as we were.
Steyn played 92 IPL matches and took 96 wickets at an average of 24.73. This South African fast bowler is currently in Australia with the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League but still injured due to lateral strain.
Is there anything better than watching Dale Steyn bowl the stumps out of the grooves?
