Finally, the fear of the Tigers has come true. The Lions beat Bangladesh to seal 3-0 ODI series whitewash! It’s a shame for the team like Bangladesh no doubt. Bangladesh is standing on the 7th position on the ICC ODI current ranking where the Lions are on the 8th position. If we consider the three different sectors, the Tigers are ahead of the Lions. But when the time comes on the ground, the calculation did not come out that way. But the Tigers faced defeat against Sri Lanka. Earlier today, at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo the 3rd ODI which was the last ODI in the ODI series took place between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The home team won the toss and decided to bat first. In 13 runs, Bangladesh got their first wicket and in the 2nd wicket partnership, the Lions added a good scored.

The top orders played well and all of them found runs in the match. The top scorer of the team was Mathews who added 87 runs. By losing eight wickets, Sri Lanka scored 294 runs in 50 overs. Shafiul Islam and Soumya Sarkar took three wickets each for the Tigers.

But, when the Tigers came to chase the score, in 4 runs opener Tamim was gone. Since then, they started to lose wickets within a regular gap. Soumya Sarker was the highest scorer who added 69 runs in the match. In 36 overs, Bangladesh lost all wickets scoring 172 runs so far.
